My mother is famous for her sweet tooth. If there's candy around, she'll find it.
While I've always enjoyed absolutely divine chocolate, I've never had quite the desire for sugary treats that my mother has... until now.
I had a cupcake for breakfast yesterday morning. As if that weren't bad enough, when I finished it, I thought "Geez, why'd I do that? I really only wanted the frosting." That is exactly the type of thing my mom would say. Apparently my sweet tooth developed later in life.
This morning I ate frosting out of the container. It's the breakfast of champions, especially when you have it with some chocolate-macadamia nut Kona coffee.
Time to call the dentist to have my cavities filled.

I have to agree with you, why even bother with cake!
We were down to only two cupcakes and I had to force Hub to eat one so I wouldn't eat them both. Besides, he's training for the marathon. I'm not. He can use the extra calories. :)
Ahem. Cupcakes are flour. Pancakes are flour. Cupcakes are eggs. (nuff said). Frosting is sugar. Syrup is sugar. Chocolate is a mineral. Coffee is a moral necessity.
Sounds like breakfast to me.
-wanders off to make breakfast before she goes to bed-
Coffee, chocolate and sugar... mmmm... A tasty little burst of energy.
"Coffee is a moral necessity."
AMEN TO THAT!
See? You didn't have a cupcake. You had pancakes with added minerals...
Oh my! I *love* the way you think! How would you like to be my personal dietician?
Sure. I have this wonderfully nutritious recipe for stuffed French Toast. Has almost all of the food groups in it. And if you eat it standing up, the calories don't count.
I rarely eat from all food groups. This would be a fantastic addition to my diet!
Standing up, huh? I'm never sitting to eat again. What if you walk and eat? Are there negative calories?
But of course. Unless it has "Diet" on the label. Then the calories are double that of normal food. Lowfat on the label is instant cellulite.
So THAT'S what's been wrong!! This whole time I've been eating "diet" and "low-fat." I was wondering why I was actually gaining weight. :runs off to toss out her low-fat, no-taste food:
:)
